Late cancellations and no-shows are very costly to appointment based small service businesses as a result, they need to be prevented at all costs.
Late Policy
I like to run on time so I can be 100% for each one of my clients. I like for everyone to be on time. 5 mins in from scheduled time is the maximum graces period I can allow and maintain quality.
Cancellations and/or Rescheduling
Should be at least be 12 – 24 hours minimum prior to time of scheduled appointment to allow time to fill the slot.
No-Shows
We have a zero tolerance no show policy. For an appointment based service business a No-show is the equivalent of stealing, except worse because time cannot be recovered. Any and all no shows will be charged the full price of the scheduled service in order to book any future appointments.
